The Hearts in Jars Project - Erin Heather Scotland 2011
Inspired by the lyrics from the song of the same name by the band Hope for A Golden Summer.
Fabric hearts are hand loop-stitched and then put into recycled glass jars with words handwritten on Japanese rice paper glued to one side. The words are as follows:
We can take out our hearts.
We can put them in mason jars.
Oh, to set aside in a sunny spot to grow…
