I wanted to do my Comic Con posts in order, that’s just not going to happen.

My three year tumblrversary is tomorrow (the 16th), and because I’m traveling, this might be the only chance I have to mention it but, here is one of the most important things to mention:

On Friday I got to meet my friend John Cabrera and attend an advanced screening of his new project H+. It was incredible and one of my favorite moments of Con.

I wouldn’t be here, on this little corner of the internet, if it hadn’t been for John mentioning tumblr.

You wouldn’t be reading this, there would never have been an afternoon butt blog, or emergency cloud infusions or ~moustache~ Thursdays or whatevery I’ve been doing here for the past three years . If you don’t like any of those things, that’s not his fault, though.

Most importantly, I wouldn’t have gotten the chance to interact with all you wonderful tumblroos over the past three years and to meet so many of you this week.

Meeting tumblroos was my very favorite thing about Comic Con.

I’ve enjoyed the past three years with tumblroos and I look forward to many more years of sharing…BUTTS? or something with all of you. I just hope you all are having a wonderful summer.

I haven’t mentioned this but I’m going to be traveling a lot over the next few weeks and I’m going to be without a computer for a lot of it, I look forward to catching up with you all when I can and I’ll just apologize in advance for the weird stuff my queue might release.

KNOW THIS: no tumblr grid could ever express or contain my ~hearting feelings~ for you tumblroos but, throughout today I’ve queued up some crush grids that I’ve collected over the past two weeks. This was the first post I ever posted on tumblr, two years two days ago. 

It was about how Cowboy’s walk had to be delayed because I was in a Fantasy Dance League, John Cabrera’s So You Think You Can Dance Fantasy Dance League. Or, The Lark.

And if that doesn’t just sum up so much of my tumblr and how I got here and who I met along the way, I don’t know what does. 

Lots of things have changed, Cowboy is gone, and that just sucks.

The Lark may be on a permanent hiatus but, it is for the best of reasons, because John is busy being a maker and doer of big things!

I continue to be a maker and doer of tiny silly things and that’s the way I like it.

I wanted to pay proper tribute to the tumblroos that captured my imagination and attention over these past two years (and I will eventually)

but, I do not blog

I am just a tumblr.

So for now, Goodbye Cowboy. You will always be my favorite Champion.

Best of luck Cabrera! I wish for you all the imagination and drive and success that you need to continue making and doing amazing projects that you love and are proud of.
